Community Development

When State Attorney Bill Gladson took office in January 2021, he created a Community Development Division to ensure that the people we serve know who we are and what we do. The Division’s focus is to cultivate comradery, trust and transparency both internally and externally.

Internally, the Division is dedicated to attorney recruitment, training, and professional development. The State Attorney’s Office strives to recruit and retain upstanding attorneys of all experience levels who live and work in the communities they serve.

Externally, the Division is committed to community outreach and education. The Division disseminates information to the public and media outlets to ensure transparency and accountability for the office. They also represent the State Attorney at various community events to provide community groups relevant and accurate information concerning the work of the office.
